"Haven't worked my way through the menu but had a pastrami salad back in the summer and a very nice brie and bacon toastie today. Unassuming cafe delivering good food, reasonably priced. The guys are working hard to make this place work. Potholes in the road are the only blip for this site. Can't wait for the multitude of geese to return."

"Very nice place to eat in a great location. Very friendly staff with a great variety menu selections the big breakfast is amazing after a long cycle ride. It has cycle stands that you can lock your bike to and plenty of places to sit inside and outside. Will go again."

"Nice cafe, conveniently situated nearby a caravanning park. Friendly staff too. The only gripe is that unfortunately, the road leading up to the cafe is full of potholes and I have even seen ducks further up crossing the road, so drive slowly and with care."

"Nice place to stop on a Saturday morning cycle ride. Not too busy, friendly service, good bacon and sausage sandwiches, toilets very clean, nice quiet lakeside location. Nothing not to like really!"

"Great location but they don’t have a “proper” coffee machine and the scrambled egg on toast was two eggs on just a single slice of toast. Could be such a great place to stop for breakfast if they could just get a decent coffee machine and be a bit less stingy with the toast!"
